Our special sauce is combining creator talent who grew up on the Roblox platform with creatives and operators with decades of experience building consumer brands and telling stories in creative ways. The Supersocial team combines deep Roblox expertise with AAA experience and creative storytellers who, together, design cutting edge experiences that feels authentic to metaverse communities.

This will be your playground and your daily challenge. As the Community Coordinator, you will cultivate meaningful connections with Roblox gamers worldwide and build communities on Discord.
We are seeking a community builder who has fully immersed themselves in the world of Roblox and possesses a deep passion for cultivating communities on Discord. Your life revolves around Discord communities, and you have a knack for building active and engaged servers from the ground up. To excel in this role, you must have the ability to expertly handle multiple servers simultaneously and work closely with multiple teams of Discord moderators to captivate and excite gamers.
Your unstoppable attitude will be the driving force that elevates our community to greater heights and generates explosive growth for our brand partners and games. You possess a gift for connecting people and weaving engaging stories, and you will use this talent to ignite dynamic conversations and fuel our communication opportunities.
As our Community Coordinator, you'll be an integral part of our fast-paced and collaborative team. You will be an extension of the development team, having complete visibility of all in game events, updates, leveraging the content and helping drive the performance goals. You'll work closely with the Head of Marketing to ensure that our Roblox game's communities on Discord are thriving and engaging. You'll constantly analyze progress and offer innovative ideas to improve engagement and retention. You'll be in the thick of it, partnering with the Community Manager in all aspects of community development. YOU’LL ENJOY THIS ROLE IF YOU CAN
- Support the development of the Discord strategy and spearhead the execution: setting channels, bots and defining a clear calendar of events and content
- Team up with the Community Manager to make sure our community initiatives and campaigns are always on point and aligned with the ultimate company strategy, and Roblox natives.
- Take charge and rally the troops! Lead and manage up to three squads of Discord moderators to keep our community safe and positive for all players.
- Bring the hype and build an epic community of players by hosting events, competitions, and other fun activities that get everyone involved and interacting. Let's create an unforgettable gaming experience and unite our players like never before.
- Stay on top of our community's performance and analyze those metrics like a pro to spot trends, identify issues, and unlock opportunities for even more epicness.
- Get those new recruits ready for battle! Assist with moderator training and onboarding, and provide ongoing support and feedback.
- Uphold community guidelines and standards, and take appropriate action when necessary to enforce rules and maintain order.
- Keep in regular communication with the rest of the community team to make sure we're all in sync and working towards the same epic goals.
- Keep those chat rooms and channels in check! Respond to queries, keep conversations on point, and make sure everyone is respectful.
Must Have
- 2+ years working in Roblox Community Management & Discord server management for a gaming company.
- Proven experience building vibrant Roblox Discord communities from scratch and crafting strategies to excite and delight gamers worldwide.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with social media analytics & engagement tools.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple servers simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: ability to operate in ambiguity and roll up your sleeves. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
